Owen Fegan, creative director at New York Media

I commissioned Danielle to illustrate a series of 5 custom “paper dolls” to help promote the launch of The CutNew York Magazine’s Fashion and Women’s lifestyle site.

In addition to being a world-class illustrator with an easy-going personality who is a pleasure to deal with, Danielle is a complete pro when it comes to beating deadlines, coming up with creative solutions to feedback, and providing to-spec art.

The dolls she illustrated to highlight the five channels of The Cut (Fashions, Fame, Beauty, Goods, Love & War) which were printed on magnetic material and die cut have all exceeded my expectations, and have received a fantastic response from the New York fashion, beauty and advertising communities.

I could not recommend Danielle Meder more highly, and I look forward to working with her again in the future.

Sarai Mitnick, founder of Colette Patterns

Danielle is everything I was looking for in an illustrator; she is skilled, reliable, knowledgeable, and her communication is exceptionally clear. She made my job infinitely easier while coming up with a top notch finished product. In short, she is a true professional and I would work with her again in a heartbeat.

Gail McInnes, program co-ordinator

As a teacher of the Fashion Illustration and Presentation Workshops at the Passion For Fashion Program through the Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI) and the Youth Employment Services (YES), Danielle was praised by her students who found her workshops very helpful for their future careers in fashion. Her ability to explain and relay theories, personal insights and practices in the simplest terms in group situations inspired the students who participated in her workshops.
